Who Can Change Education System? The power to change the education system lies in collective action. By working together, various stakeholders can create a system that provides all students with the opportunities and resources they need to succeed. Ministers and secretaries of state education department can change the current education system in India. But there are always challenges faced by rulers in India to do any amendment in any law. Education is the backbone of any country so it would be far more difficult for us to get a change in our education system.Â

Should the school system be changed?
In my opinion, YES! Just teach students what they want to be from the start! Why delay it till college and university?!
Also, put further languages on the curriculum as optional subjects! More languages mean better communication!
Furthermore, stop pestering kids/children regarding Homework! Trust me, think of what they might be going through in their daily lives first! And before you attack me by saying “Oh PlEaSe KiDS NoWADayS HaVE No WoRK To dO ExCePT StUDyiNG,” let me tell you that you should think about the mental stress they are going through! Personally, as of when I wrote this answer, I had been feeling very suicidal lately because of the amount of Homework coupled with not being sure if I will be able to become what I want to be and being unable to learn about it as my school doesn’t even have it in the curriculum! Now you understand what I mean?!
Who Can Change Education System?
The power to change the education system arises from collective action and collaboration among various stakeholders, rather than residing solely with one individual or entity. It’s important to understand that the education system is complex and interconnected. While each group has a role to play, effective change often requires collaboration and consensus among these stakeholders. Here are some main collaborative bodies that can change the education system.
- Government bodies
- Educational institutions
- Communities and families
- Other stakeholders (The private sector & Educational researchers and experts)

How can I change education systems?
It is almost an impossibility. The “systems” are designed by Educational Theories developed in universities with scholarly papers and are theories implemented without the intention for change or flexibility. The “systems” are implemented with purpose and intention. They are not designed to be changed.
Any change would probably permit flexibility and alteration.
The fundamental error that ordinary people make is that they assume that Educational Systems are designed with “good intentions”. Actually, “systems” are designed to frustrate, limit, and control the thinking and attitudes that students develop.
Educational Systems typically, advance only a very few students. Some students seem to adapt to the system and perform relatively well. However, adaptation to the Educational System only means that the student has been programmed in a way that implements certain controls in attitude and understanding.
The only alternative is some form of private education and that can include such options as private tutoring or home education.
What’s wrong with Indian Education System?
Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself”. If we talk about our education we’ll definitely get back to our childhood & college day’s memories and the naughty things which we did during those days. So let’s come to our discussion…is our Indian Education System well structured and implemented the way we are learning?
Syllabus
When it comes to our schooling educational system we have two types of syllabi i.e State Syllabus & Central Syllabus. Have you ever thought of it? Most probably not. But there is a lot of difference between those two. Most of the funny answers given by our elders is state syllabus is easy whereas central is hard & you need to work hard to clear the examination.
Types of Schools
These days even many schools have come into the market with different names i.e. E Techno schools & International Schools which are affiliated with universities. But, how to differentiate between a student who is studying in a primary school & an international school? I think the way teaching will be different probably by showing them practically and explaining with examples & at the same time we need to think from the student’s point also i.e how many skills a student can acquire & implement in real-time.
Education to become rich
We also live in a country where the people see education as the means of climbing the social and economic ladder. If the education system is failing – then it is certainly not due to lack of demand for good education, or because a market for education does not exist.
The education system in India is failing because of more intrinsic reasons. There are systemic faults that do not let our demand for good education translate into a great marketplace with excellent education services.
What Improvements Needed in Indian Education System?
1. Skills
The education has to be delivered in such a way that it improves the skills of a student & at the same time gaining complete knowledge. “Give a man a fish and you feed him one day, teach him how to catch fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” I believe that if you teach a man a skill, you enable him for a lifetime. Knowledge is largely forgotten after the completion of the exam.
2. Communication
Most of the schools are English Medium but hardly how many will speak in English? I think the teaching staff & class leaders will speak in English & the remaining students are comfortable in their own mother tongue. This situation is happening in every corner of India. Even parents have to motivate their children and at the same time, they need to speak in English.
3. Projects
The market has been changing and in most schools, at vacation time for each & every student, one project is given. On the opening day of the school, they need to submit the project. Actually what students are doing just searching the topic from google and the exact content & relevant images have been taken printed out & copied. But nowadays the situation is the same in colleges also. Projects have to be relevant to the students based upon the market trends so as to increase the thinking ability of a student which would be remembered for a long time.
How can we change our education system? [With Proof]
We can.
We just don’t think we have the power.
“One person can change the world…” is not a cliche, but a historically proven fact.
One ordinary monk stood up against papal corruption. Martin Luther wrote a pamphlet that cascaded into the Reformation.
Gavrilo Princip set in motion a series of events that drastically altered the face of the 20th century. WWI led directly to WWII which led to technological advances in flight and rocketry, which changed the technological face of the entire modern world.
Change all came later, but one person had to start them in motion. One ordinary person.
Two examples of enormous and wide-reaching changes enacted by a single ordinary person. There are too many more to write.
We can’t change the educational system because we falsely believe we can’t.
We can Home school. A neighborhood or a group of parents with neurologically diverse children can decide en mass whether they want to group home-school their children. It is legal. So long as you do it correctly, you can provide the baseline education schools provide.
Those children grow, some become teachers, some have children, and they affect how the education system works.
Change will happen, it is inevitable and it is happening now.
In my youth, the education system could only recognize me as a lazy student and an underachiever. Today Autistic children or children with ADHD are given much more support in schools than they did in the 80’s.
I hope that I have provided an interesting perspective.
