Can the seat height of the Suzuki Access 125 Scooter be reduced?
Yes, the seat height can be reduced on most motor cycles/scooters. There are several ways to do this, however I am assuming that you do not want to change the suspension settings which would affect the handling.
This leaves ‘shaving the seat’.
The basic idea of ‘shaving the seat’ is that you take the seat off, take the seat cover off and then use a sharp knife to shave/slice off some of the seat foam. Once you have shaved it down to an acceptable level, you simply recover the seat again. Here is a link to a YouTube video outlining this process in more detail (not specifically related to a a Suzuki Access 125, however the principle remains the same).
You can gain anywhere up to a couple inches max using this method depending on how much foam the seat in question is made of. Just be mindful that it may not be as comfortable or ergonomic afterwards!
